The Montessori method has been working wonderfully for Lil' Bear thus far, and I will post a summary of what we have been doing at the end of the week.
On every Wednesday, I try to take the kids on an adventure. This week, to go along with our airplane theme, we went to the Charlotte Douglas Airport.
On Old Dowd Road they have a viewing area called Airport Overlook. Other than actually riding an airplane, this was the closest I have ever been to jet airplanes.
It was really neat to be able to see the planes taxiing, taking off, and landing right in front of us. The kids both loved it too. We will definitely need to do this again sometime soon.
